Job Summary
As Talent Acquisition Partner you handle multiple recruitment projects in several departments and several countries at the same time, with a focus on the Belgian production plant, but not exclusive. You decide the right recruitment strategy for each specific project (with or without a recruitment agency, campus recruitment, ... ). You follow up applications, do an in depth interview and schedule follow up interviews until the contract is signed. You keep hiring managers up to date regarding all steps in the process and work closely with the HR Business Partner of the departments you are supporting. Besides day to day recruitment activities, you participate to small improvement projects within the TA team, and run the EMEA Internship Program, accross all departments and countries.
Job Responsibilities
1.Talent Acquisition Strategy
1. You assist in the implementation of the Talent Acquisition strategy, acting as a partner to the hiring managers and HR contacts to evaluate existing hiring needs and prepare a recruitment plan to ensuring the successful recruitment of quality candidates. This included showing market data and trends to advise your internal clients and help shape to right job description and candidate profile.
2.Recruitment
2. You are fully accountable to organize the recruitment projects within your scope: this includes creating compelling job advertisements based on the job descriptions and applying recruitment marketing best practices. You proactively search candidates via LinkedIn, following up applications via our recruitment platform, short-listing the candidates, interviewing, evaluating and selecting them for follow up interviews.
3. You partner with the hiring manager during all these steps of the process and keep the HR Business Partner of the department up to date. You complete the recruitment process by offering the candidate a Letter of Intent, and upon acceptance, linking them with our HR admin colleagues who will complete the hiring process.
3.Talent Management
4. You use our Internal Talent Marketplace platform (based on Gloat) to engage with internal talent from Terumo Europe, and our sister companies in Japan, US and other parts of the world.
4.Employer Branding
5. You ensure constant corporate image across recruiting campaigns to ensure a compelling employer brand.
6. You bring in new and creative ways to promote Terumo Europe as an employer of choice.
7. Together with your TA colleagues and the Communication team, you create compelling stories for LinkedIn, Instagram and other tools or campaigns.
5.HR analytics
8. You collaborate with the People Analytics Partner and look to external data to use dashboards and data to improve our talent acquisition activities.

Profile Description
11. Like a Marketing or Communications specialist, you have strong communication skills in English, Dutch and one other European language (eg. German, French, ...). You are a creative writer and feel comfortable presenting. You are able to communicate effectively towards all employee groups and levels (students, employees & managers).
12. Like a Sales Rep, you have high energy and drive. You investigate the market to find potential new Terumo associates. You approach people via LinkedIn and via other networking tools to get the conversation started. You negotiate win-win partnerships with external partners if needed.
13. Like a Project Manager, your planning skills are on point to organise interviews with multiple stakeholders, in multiple countries, who themselves have multiple priorities. You get everyone around the (virtual) table to make sure candidates get the follow up and feedback they deserve, and roles are filled as soon as possible.
14. Like an HR professional, you show care for the candidates, hiring managers and all other stakeholders you work with. You ask the right questions to really understand the person you are talking with during interviews, intake conversations, feedback meetings and follow up these meetings with concrete actions.
15. You are a team player: you give and ask feedback to the TA team and your manager, share ideas, you are open to learn and can look beyond your own tasks to help the team succeed.
