This is a high‑impact, senior role at the heart of our International Supply Chain organisation, reporting to the Senior Director, Logistics Strategy & Execution.
The opportunity
You will be the driving force behind turning our global logistics strategy into action and measurable value. That means:
* Leading some of our most complex strategic logistics projects globally
* Orchestrating major warehouse consolidation and network redesign initiatives
* Establishing and running the program management office (PMO) for Global Logistics Strategy
* Acting as a change agent across regions to raise logistics maturity and harmonise best practices
You’ll work with regional logistics leaders in EMEA, APAC, and the US, as well as cross‑functional teams in Commercial, Quality, Regulatory, IT, Finance, Legal and Customer Service – as both a leader and an advisor, ensuring strategy translates into flawless execution.
What you’ll do
* Manage complex project teams typically ranging from 10–20 people, including regional stakeholders and external consultants
* Deliver projects on time, within budget, and with clear, measurable business value
* Track and report on performance: OTIF, working capital, logistics cost‑to‑serve, lead times, and realised savings vs. business case
Drive the logistics strategic roadmap
You will translate Hologic’s global logistics strategy into an executable, sequenced roadmap and ensure it gets delivered:
* Lead the PMO for Global Logistics Strategy & Execution
* Define program governance, milestones, KPIs, and value realization tracking
* Align project portfolio and execution with Commercial, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, Customer Services, and Finance
* Ensure we are consistently moving towards “logistics excellence” globally
Data‑driven logistics organization
* Partner with IT and digital teams on system integration and deployment
* Drive KPI transparency, dashboards and analytics capabilities for decision‑making
* Ensure effective change management and adoption of new tools and processes
* Track digital adoption and usage rates to ensure real business impact
* Act as a visible change agent for the logistics strategy across all regions
* Lead the Global Logistics Community of Practice: bringing logistics experts together, leveraging best practices and driving process harmonisation
* Define and monitor global logistics training related to strategic projects
* Build engagement and ownership within project execution teams
What we’re looking for
* Educational background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field
* Experience in logistics / supply chain in regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, medical devices, chemicals, technology, or similar) with a focus on strategic logistics projects
* Proven track record of leading complex, multi‑country projects and PMO activities
* Experience influencing and managing stakeholders in an international matrix environment
* Deep understanding of logistics and distribution operations (warehousing, transportation, network design, cost‑to‑serve)
* Strong PMO and project management methodology knowledge (portfolio management, governance, risk management, benefits tracking)
* Comfortable working with data: using analytics and KPIs for decision‑making
* Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills – able to align diverse regions and functions around a common roadmap
* Robust negotiation skills to manage trade‑offs between service, cost, and risk
* Excellent problem‑solving and structured thinking
* Ownership and accountability – you treat the global logistics roadmap as your mission
* Pragmatic and execution‑focused – equally comfortable in the strategy room and on the warehouse floor
* Collaborative and inclusive – you bring people together across regions and cultures
* Resilient and calm under pressure – able to navigate ambiguity and tight timelines
