Mardi is a Belgian independent womenswear brand with a clear point of view: fewer pieces, better made. Since 2020, we've been crafting limited editions in Belgium and Portugal. Natural fabrics, honest production, no compromises on quality. Our pieces are built to be worn across seasons, styled back with each other, and kept for years. We're growing slowly, intentionally.
We’re opening our first boutique in Antwerp this spring and are looking for someone to help us build it from the ground up. If you love clothes, people, and the idea of being part of a Belgian brand's next chapter, this might be the role for you.
THE ROLE
You’ll be the face of Mardi in Antwerp : welcoming clients, building the first loyal community around the boutique, and helping shape how the brand shows up in the city. You’ll have real responsibility from day one: on the floor, in the merchandising, and in the results.
Day to day, this means:
–Welcoming clients and creating a warm, personal and inspiring in-store experience
–Styling advice — reading what a client needs and guiding them toward confident choices
–Setting up window displays and maintaining an inspiring visual presentation
–Telling the Mardi story to clients discovering the brand for the first time
–Actively following sales and KPIs — you feel genuinely invested in the boutique’s success
–Building lasting client relationships that bring people back
–Managing stock, deliveries, payments, returns and daily operations
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
–Fluent in Dutch (C2 level or equivalent), fluent in English, strong French
–A genuine passion for fashion, style and the way clothes are made
–Experience in fashion retail — a confident eye and ease on the floor
–Polished, spontaneous, and naturally at ease with people
–Autonomous and commercially minded — you take ownership without being asked
–Excited by the idea of launching a brand in a new market, not just running a shop
–Comfortable with POS systems and digital tools
WHAT WE OFFER
–A founding role in Mardi’s Antwerp chapter — you help build what it becomes
–Part of a small and driven team that genuinely values initiative
–Real creative input: styling, visual merchandising, brand storytelling
–32h/week including Saturday — one Saturday free per month
–A competitive salary package, flexibility and fashion perks
