The project:Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Product Owner Squad Transactions to strengthen their team.
Function description:1. Product Owner of the squadAccording to Scrum methodology, the Agile Product Owner represents both stakeholders and the voice of the customers capturing their expectations, preferences and aversions. Along with the Scrum Master he/she leads and organises the Squad.The Agile Product Owner is in charge of expressing and prioritizing the needs of the product using a Product Backlog. For understanding the needs and prioritising the backlog based on value, the product owner is in regular contact with all stakeholders and is also explaining the prioritisation decisions to them.The Agile Product Owner has to ensure the Team's perfect understanding of the product and priorities and the whole consistency of each Sprint.The product owner motivates the squad, helps them to organise the work and facilitiates problem solving in the team.
2. Project Management related toTransactionsOccasionally the product owner will also take on the role of Opus Owner (cf project manager role) for Transactions related topics
Design phase and project methodology:build the product's big picture including its roadmap based on agile slicing, and translate this picture towards the development teamclarify the need and lead the refinement as a basis for drafting the product's key functional specifications according to the agile methodologyiteration planning and priorities definition to ensure the proper content deliverydefines the priorities and monitor the Product Backlog, thus he continuously prioritizes the key business needsmake sure that the different stakeholders become and stay aligned on the product to be delivered
Project follow-up and support:initiate a priority management approach, ensure the product consistency and qualityactively participate into agile ceremonies (agile retrospectives, sprint review, sprint planning...)is the decision maker or has the authority to arbitrate on delivered functionalities
Is this you?Strong knowledge of EnglishAt least one national languageProduct Owner or Scrum Master certificationAt least 5 years of relevant experienceFunctional understanding of Banking systems, ideally daily banking, both mainframe and distributedExpertise in agile methodologies and backlog managementProduct ManagementStakeholder ManagementProject ManagementDaily banking products and servicesBanking Transactions management
