For our banking client in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Production Data Engineer (Logging & Monitoring) to join their team.
You will help ensure the reliability, performance, and compliance of critical banking applications. Working in an agile setup, you will implement and optimise advanced monitoring and logging solutions while supporting innovation across cloud and infrastructure environments.
As part of a cross-functional agile team, you will combine analysis, design, development, testing, and integration skills to deliver valuable increments at the end of each sprint.
Implementing and configuring monitoring & logging solutions (Dynatrace, IBM Netcool, ELK, Sysdig, IBM Cloud Logs).
Ensuring alignment with Event Management (EVM) and Incident Management (INC) processes.
Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to integrate and optimise monitoring tools.
Acting as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and troubleshooting complex production issues.
Contributing to IT Cloud and IBM Dmzr as Code initiatives.
Exploring and evaluating emerging technologies to strengthen the monitoring ecosystem.
Monitoring & Logging Tools: Dynatrace, IBM Netcool Operation Insights, Sysdig, ELK (Log as a Service), IBM Cloud Logs
Cloud & Infrastructure: IT Cloud (IBM Dmzr As Code is a plus)
Event Management (EVM), Incident Management (INC), ITIL/ITSM (nice to have)
You are adaptable, hands-on, and eager to learn new tools and banking-specific environments.
Active knowledge of at least one national language and passive knowledge of the other
