Financial Planning & Analyst
In your role as Financial Planning & Analyst at BOSAQ, you won't be merely crunching numbers all day. You are instrumental in supporting BOSAQ's financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. You use your analytical mindset and business acumen to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. With these insights, you support cross-functional teams in ensuring financial plans align with operational goals and ESG commitments.
Your key responsibilities will be as follows:
Budgeting & Forecasting
* You'll shape the company's financial future by building and maintaining financial models that drive budgets and forecasts
* You'll collaborate with business leaders to align financial plans with strategic goals and explore scenarios that guide decision-making from a financial point of view
Financial Analysis & Reporting
* You'll turn data into insight — analysing trends, variances, and profitability to tell the story behind the numbers
* You'll deliver clear reports and insights to management, to drive business performance
* You'll build and monitor dashboards in Power BI
Strategic Support
* You'll contribute to evaluating new investments, funding models, and ESG-related initiatives
* You'll support in preparing materials for board meetings and investor updates that shape our strategic direction
Performance & Process Improvement
* You'll track key financial and operational KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities along the way
* You'll enhance FP&A processes and implement best practices in modelling and reporting to drive efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Skills
As Financial Planning & Analyst, you have at a minimum the following:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
* 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or management accounting; 2-3 years of experience with one of the big four would be ideal
* Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
* Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with ESG metrics and financial compliance standards
* The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, in a fast-paced scale-up environment
* Fluency in both English and Dutch, as both languages are essential in managing our company processes
