Packs EMEA (Eastpak, JanSport & Kipling) is looking for an outstanding Senior Key Accounts Manager to join our Digital Commerce organisation in Antwerp, Belgium.
Let’s talk about the role
As Senior Key Accounts Manager you will be responsible to align people and resources across the digital key accounts landscape and exploiting synergies. You will have full P&L responsibility for all digital accounts (such as Zalando, QVC, Bol.com with AMAZON being a considerable contributor for Eastpak, JanSport, and Kipling brands) and you will be accountable for inspiring, leading the Digital Key Accounts team to drive sales and execute against goals resulting in a seamless brands’ experience across the different platforms.
How you will make the difference
1. Plan, control, and direct activities of the accounts to hit all financial sales targets (E.g. seasonal prebook, monthly shipping, quarterly and yearly net sales)
2. Measure & track success KPIs scorecards and report to the Commercial Lead with weekly, monthly and annual revenue forecast updates
3. Be flexible and support the key account managers in their day-to-day management of the accounts
4. Own the relationship with AMAZON. You will develop and execute the 3-yr strategic plan and ensure all needs are covered to achieve short/mid and long-term goals.
5. Partner with the Digital marketing team and the AMAZON advertising team to drive demand and maximise key consumer moments
6. Own the GTM process as well as the T&C negotiations and follow up (E.g. agreements and disputes) with AMAZON
7. Drive and facilitate weekly meetings with the vendor manager and AVS team to ensure alignment and progress on key topics (reorders, deals, stock cover, initiatives).
8. Build and foster effective and healthy relationships with direct reports and business partners that results in confidence, morale, and spirit within the team. You will act as role model people leadership and development via consistent and productive coaching. You will be responsible to develop and manage your organization to achieve business results and coach a team of 5 associates.
Skills for Success
We are looking for a strategic doer, who is equally comfortable thinking big picture as delving into the details and getting things done. You will be a key contributor in the development of the broader Digital marketplace strategy. You will be collaborating closely with internal teams including, DTC, Sales Operations, Planning & Allocation, Product, and Merchandising, to ensure alignment and effective execution of brand initiatives
To succeed in this role, you need to:
9. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar role of which at least 3-4 years of people management experience
10. Direct experience with AMAZON or in AMAZON. You are familiar with their trading model
11. Commercial driven
12. Previous experience in building strong relationships with key customers to foster strategic partnerships and ensure mutual KPIs are set to drive growth
13. You are a strategic storyteller, experienced in the identification of value creation opportunities using data provided by the customer but as well using our own reports
14. You understand the current digital landscape, fashion market and all its challenges, you are equipped with the right background to provide insights supporting the growth of the PACKS business
15. Proven track record of coaching, developing and managing an account management team
16. Strong negotiation and influencing skills combined with the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
17. Capable to work under pressure and prioritise against business objectives.
18. Ability to look after both numbers (sales/profit) and experience.
19. Fluent in English with any other languages being a plus.
20. Industry of origin: Fashion, Apparel, Footwear, Accessories
A formal education and subsequent University bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or business administration is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
