EMEA Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a prominent global manufacturing organization to recruit a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant.
This is a highly confidential search for a trusted right hand to support a member of the global senior Leadership team (Senior Vice President).
In this role, you will go beyond traditional administrative support. You will be a strategic partner to the SVP, ensuring the smooth execution of global operations, and acting as a bridge between high-level strategy and daily execution.
This position offers a flexible remote setup for candidates based anywhere in Belgium, with a requirement to be onsite at the company's facilities in the Antwerp/Flemish Brabant region approximately one day per week.
This presence is vital to maintain a close connection with local operations and provide backup support for regional leadership when necessary.
Executive Assistant key responsibilities:
Act as a gatekeeper and coordinator for a high-profile global SVP, managing complex schedules across multiple timezones
Autonomously prepare, draft, and finalize sophisticated presentations for global townhalls and executive meetings
Lead the organization of complex global travel itineraries and provide end-to-end support for international leadership events
Serve as a key backup for the local plant Leadership support team, ensuring business continuity within the Belgian operations
Manage professional communication with internal and external stakeholders at the highest corporate levels
Key experience required:
Proven track record in a supporting role at the executive or board level within a complex, international corporate environment
A self-starting mindset with the ability to anticipate executive needs and take initiative on projects without being asked
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and modern digital planning tools
Native level or fluent professional English is mandatory - proficiency in Dutch is a significant advantage for local operational coordination
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with the utmost integrity
Flexibility to support urgent global matters and travel internationally 1-2 times per year
