The Director BSS Commercial Technical Delivery is the accountable owner, strategist and technological steward of the Netcracker BSS platform within Telenet. As the primary bridge between Telenet and Netcracker as a strategic outsourcing partner, you lead the cluster responsible for all Netcracker Ordering development and carry full end‑to‑end platform accountability. You embody and actively promote the organizational culture, enable the growth and development of people, and take full responsibility for value creation and the achievement of strategic objectives within the BSS Commercial domain, with a direct contribution to Telenet’s profitability and long‑term value creation.
Your responsibilities as Director BSS Commercial Technical Delivery
1. You define and safeguard the short‑, mid‑ and long‑term vision for the Netcracker BSS platform, aligned with Telenet’s overall business strategy and the Commercial domain roadmap.
2. You analyse market trends and BSS technologies and translate them into a clear, future‑proof transformation roadmap.
3. You carry end‑to‑end accountability for the Netcracker BSS platform, ensuring performance, stability and continuous evolution within an outsourced delivery model.
4. You drive delivery governance across the Ordering value stream (planning, prioritisation, capacity and quality) and promote Agile and DevOps practices to accelerate time‑to‑market.
5. You act as the primary point of contact for Netcracker and steer strategic and operational vendor and contract management, including SLAs, KPIs, escalations and risk management.
6. You take business ownership of the BSS Commercial Technical Delivery budget and make well‑founded investment and build‑versus‑buy decisions.
7. You lead, coach and develop managers, product owners and technical profiles, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous learning and technical excellence.
8. You represent the cluster in governance and leadership forums and collaborate proactively with Product, Architecture, IT Operations and Business to realise end‑to‑end value creation.
Your profile as Director BSS Commercial Technical Delivery
9. You have deep expertise in BSS architecture and the telecom Commercial domain, including Ordering, Activation and Product Catalogue.
10. You have proven experience managing large‑scale vendor and partner relationships within an outsourced delivery model.
11. You are able to translate Telenet’s business strategy into concrete BSS platform objectives, roadmaps and delivery outcomes.
12. You are a strong leader with experience in leading cross‑functional teams and complex technology and transformation programmes.
13. You are analytically and conceptually strong, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
14. You have strong collaboration, negotiation and stakeholder management skills across diverse and sometimes conflicting interests.
15. You have experience working in agile and scaled delivery environments, preferably within a telecom context.
