The Industrial Sales Manager, Europe is a key player on the Wonderful EMEIA Industrial Team and is expected to be a proactive, creative problem solver with a demonstrated track record of professional & persuasive sales skills. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, driving revenue growth based on growing existing customer relationships (Key Account Management) and initiating new customers (prospection). This role requires strong business acumen, entails playing a crucial role in ensuring the success and growth of key accounts within the EMEIA Industrial Team, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
Job Description
Sales & Business Development:
1. Implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the European region.
2. Evaluate customer needs and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams customer service, operations & quality, finance, marketing, and product development) to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
4. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
5. Identify new business opportunities and potential markets within the region.
6. Challenge the status-quo by exploring ways to exceed sales targets to grow the company's market share and presence.
Customer Relationship Management:
7. Identify and develop high potential customers into key account relationships by building a long-term partnership model
8. Demonstrate expertise in conflict resolution to address customer complaints in collaboration with internal stakeholders
9. Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
10. Overlook the entire sales process from initial prospection through contract finalization, including financial follow-up.
Budget Management:
11. Develop and execute annual sales plans on agreed volume targets
12. Monitor and report on sales performance and key account KPI’s against targets.
Reporting and Analysis:
13. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
14. Actively participate in monthly sales meetings and share market insights and best practices with the sales team.
Qualifications
15. Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in bulk commodities or industrial food processing, with expertise in business development, key account management, and sales strategy execution in MENA markets.
16. Sales & Skills: Proven ability to close high-value deals, with strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Results-driven, self-motivated, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
17. Organization & Tech: Strong organizational skills, with attention to follow-up and execution. Proficient in CRM systems, sales forecasting, and market analysis.
18. Languages: Fluent in English and Polish (German or Russian is a plus).
19. Travel: Willing to travel frequently within EMEIA, the USA, and Belgium.
20. Education: Business (Agricultural/Food), Commercial, or other relevant area
