Your tasks
* Management of the implementation of analytics capability according to business functional and non-functional requirements: follow up of contractors, review of documents, organization of business acceptance tests, workshops, etc. and using the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality;
* Give proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, review of project deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, problem reporting and management systems, follow up and organization;
* Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings;
* Interact and validate requirements with the business team, facilitating the in-take activities and collaborating in epics definition to accomplish the agreed project roadmap;
* Propose solutions by combining the tools and business processes;
* Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs;
* Estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference;
* Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports;
* Manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors;
* Sharing with all internal stakeholders ensuring all expectations, requirements and constraints are considered and validated in the discussions and documentation;
* Interaction with business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers in close cooperation with implementation teams and contractors.
Requirements
* University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
* At least 5 years of project management experience, coordinating multi-national teams in IT;
* At least 4 years of experience in oriented object software development for large scale IT (JAVA, J2E, etc.), SOA oriented and data analytics projects;
* Experience of large-scale digital systems in customs domain and in projects integrating large amount of data from different data sources;
* Excellent knowledge of central high-availability systems, big data and analytics solutions;
* Excellent knowledge of project management standards and methodologies (Project Scheduling, Strategic Planning, Financial Modelling, Budgeting, Forecasting, Performance Tracking);
* Good knowledge of reporting methods and project management tools e.g. MS Project, Microsoft Excel;
* Good knowledge of technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Microservices, relational DBMS, RESTful APIs, AWS, Azure, etc;
* Good knowledge of Agile methodology, Scrum Management, Lean agile;
* Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;
* Good knowledge of systems and tools like Oracle, SAP, Dataiku, Denodo, Kafka, Superset, LDAP, etc;
* One of the following certifications would be required: PM2, Project Management Professional (PMP) and PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner;
* The following certifications would be an asset: ITIL certification above ITIL foundation (or equivalent), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO);
* Excellent command of the English language and fluency in French would be an advantage.
