About the job

As a Business Developer for Flanders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping both the visibility of the brand and the quality of its partnerships. Your mission is to strengthen market presence, engage customers, and create value for stakeholders across different channels such as retail, veterinaries, partners and breeders. The role offers a mix of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and hands-on execution.
5. Marketing excellence – Plan and deliver impactful projects that boost brand awareness, improve customer engagement, and support international expansion. From creative activations to instore execution (Retail), you’ll make sure the company stays ahead of the curve.
6. ️ Business development – Build strong and lasting relationships with retail partners in Flanders, ensuring flawless execution in-store and driving measurable sales results. You’ll also analyze market feedback and translate it into actionable opportunities.
7. Cross-functional collaboration – Work closely with teams such as operations, logistics, and customer experience to align strategies and deliver consistent results.
8. Growth-driven mission – Support offline (&online) sales by spotting new opportunities, taking initiatives, and contributing to the company’s ambitious roadmap.

About the ideal candidate

We are looking for someone who combines entrepreneurial energy with strong organizational skills, someone who enjoys the balance between big-picture strategy and everyday execution. You thrive in a scale-up environment where adaptability and initiative are key.
9. ️ Sales Retail/FMCG: You have sales experience & drive to increase sales in retail environment
10. Entrepreneurial spirit – You’re proactive, curious, and resourceful, always ready to take initiative and turn challenges into opportunities.
11. Strategic vision with attention to detail – You can design clear strategies while also making sure the small things are done right.
12. Flexibility & adaptability – You’re comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and can pivot quickly when priorities change.
13. ️ Excellent communication skills – You express yourself clearly in both Dutch and English, in writing and verbally and you are at ease to work with French speaking colleagues.
