This role is designed as a hybrid position, requiring an average of 2 days per week working from an HPE office.

Job Title: Technical Consultant - Networking
Type: Full-Time
Job Overview:
We seek a networking specialist with strong problem-solving skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize networking solutions, working with various customers across industries. The role involves regular on-site visits and occasional evening or weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Consultation: Assess client networking needs and develop tailored solutions.
2. Network Design and Implementation: Design and configure LAN, (SD)WAN, and wireless networks.
3. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of configurations and troubleshooting steps.
4. Knowledge Sharing: Demonstrate best practices and new technologies to clients and teams.
5. Time Management: Prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
6. Compliance and Security: Ensure adherence to industry standards and security protocols.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging networking technologies.
8. Migrations: Lead complex customer migrations with minimal disruption.
9. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve complex networking issues.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
2. Experience: 3-5 years in networking roles, including design, implementation, troubleshooting; consulting experience is a plus.
3. Certifications: Aruba Networking Certified Professional or similar.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, LAN, WLAN, NAC, network security tools, multivendor environments, monitoring tools, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
5. Soft Skills: Passion for IT, strong consulting mindset, excellent communication, client focus, analytical skills, teamwork, and proficiency in Dutch/French and English.
