We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to support a critical Operations & Maintenance team responsible for Networks and Infrastructure.
This role combines classic system administration with technologies, cybersecurity tools, and infrastructure reliability tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and resilience of operational technology environments while supporting infrastructure projects and coordinating patch deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
* Deploy, maintain, and improve infrastructure including servers, virtual environments, and critical components
* Coordinate and follow up on managed service contracts related to infrastructure
Core System Administration
* Administer and maintain Active Directory and DNS services using secure configuration practices
* Perform Microsoft SQL Server administration, including performance checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting
* Operate and maintain VMware virtualization environments and Veeam backup systems to ensure high availability and resilience of systems
System Maintenance & Reliability
* Monitor automated backup creation and perform manual backup activities when required
* Document standard operating procedures and configuration guidelines
* Support projects and coordinate patch deployment across the environment
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
* Strong understanding of Windows Server administration
* Good understanding of Linux administration
* Hands-on experience with:
* Active Directory
* DNS
* VMware ESXi
* Veeam
* Microsoft SQL Server
* Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and tools
Professional Background
* Minimum 5+ years of professional experience
* At least 3+ years in system administration roles
Soft Skills
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Analytical, structured, and reliable mindset
* Fluent in English and French
