In order to support the growth of our Finance Department, we are currently looking for a Business Controller to join our Team.

Responsibilities
You will be a member of the SMT Africa - Finance department and will report to the Head of Controlling. You will be in charge of reviewing monthly closing and reporting of your subsidiaries. You will also manage the key performance indicators as well as coordinate the annual budget process.
As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for the following tasks for your subsidiaries:
* Responsible for the analysis of the monthly reporting package, of the key financial ratios for your countries ;
* Active involvement in the monthly closing work with local team ;
* Participation to the monthly Business Reviews ;
* Coordinate the budget process of your subsidiaries (once a year) and forecast of the entities (twice a year) ;
* Support the countries’ profitability by activity, and help in the overall performance tracking ;
* Be a real business partner to your stakeholders : Managing Directors & Directors ;
* Performance Tracking for all the subsidiaries ;
* Monitor all key actions impacting performance ;
* Participate in the development and follow-up of key reports in Power BI ;
* Your visits to Africa (subject to global situation, of course) will help you to better assess the situation and support the entities ;
* Be an ambassador of the Group’s policies as well as for the continuous improvement of accounting and business control procedures.
Profile
* Master degree in finance/accounting/audit ;
* Minimum 5 years in business control preferably in the automotive industry (dealership) ;
* Audit experience is a plus ;
* You’re fluent in French and English ;
* Good expertise of Windows Office suite and Power BI would be nice to have ;
* Good knowledge of financial systems (ideally MS Dynamics NAV, Lucanet) ;
* Autonomous with a true team spirit ;
* Persistent, rigorous and Professional in his relationship ;
* Teaching & listening capacities in order to support fully the local finance teams ;
* Nice to have : knowledge of the principles of financial consolidation ;
* Ready for frequent visits to Africa (10% of time).
