Job description
Within the Services department, you are responsible for the management ( remote) of various systems installed at the customers. If a problem arises, you analyse the problem and, together with the team, find the best solution. You do not only perform classic maintenance tasks, but you are also responsible for proactively monitoring the systems, rolling out upgrades and lifecycle management. You will be trained in various new technologies. And you participate in the implementation of new installations at customers in close cooperation with our Project Engineers and Project Managers.
Maintenance:
* You perform corrective maintenance on various mission critical systems.
* You perform updates and upgrades on existing systems.
* You perform preventive visits in the context of maintenance contracts.
Implementation of projects:
* In a lab environment, you prepare future installations.
* You install the solution at the customer's site and put it into service.
* You give training to users and administrators.
Required experience
* Must have: Bachelor, Master or Engineer in Electronics,Information Technology, Telecommunication...
* Fluent in Dutch, good knowledge of English and knowledge of French is a major asset
* Good understanding of virtualisation (VMware, Nutanix)
* Expertise in Windows server environments
* Expertise with Networking (CISCO CCNA)
* Expertise in Linux systems environements is an asset
* Expertise in VOIP / Video is desirable
* Analytical mind, well organised, flexibility, eagerness to learn are key in this position
* Open to participate in the on call rotation within your team after a few months of practice
* Driver's licence B
