A leading financial institution is strengthening its technical team supporting the Murex trading and risk management platform.
The role focuses on backend software development, CI/CD automation, and integration within the high-performance dealing room environment, supporting traders, back office, and foreign branches.
Responsibilities
* Translate functional specifications into technical design.
* Develop and maintain backend components of the Murex ecosystem.
* Set up and enhance CI/CD processes and automation.
* Conduct self-review and peer code reviews.
* Perform integration and technical testing with interfacing systems.
* Resolve incidents, defects, and support application maintenance.
* Collaborate with business and ICT stakeholders.
* Provide documentation, performance tuning, and weekend/holiday support when required.
Requirements
Must Have
* 5+ years backend software development experience.
* Strong Java (object-oriented) and Java SDK expertise.
* C++ experience.
* GitHub / BitBucket – Expert.
* Linux – Expert; Shell scripting mandatory.
* CI/CD setup and automation experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Agile methodology experience.
Should Have / Nice to Have
* Experience with Murex platform (strong asset).
* Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL).
* Python programming knowledge.
* Experience supporting regulated environments.
