Job Title: Training Specialist - Aircraft Maintenance
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our M&E Training Team, you will be responsible for creating efficient and effective training programs that cater to the diverse needs of our technical staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabin maintenance and hold at least two certifications in special skills such as paint, IFE, NTF or Tedlar. You will be responsible for developing and updating training materials, conducting theoretical and practical training sessions, and overseeing the implementation of training programs.
Main Responsibilities
* Design and deliver internal training sessions on key regulatory and operational topics.
* Develop, update, and tailor training materials to suit various learning styles and needs.
* Conduct both theoretical and practical training sessions related to aircraft cabin systems.
* Oversee the implementation and completion of training programs for cabin technicians.
* Compile questions for examination banks and maintain the certification database.
* Maintain and update the training database, ensuring accessibility and accuracy of training records.
Career Development & Employee Growth
* Oversight of internship programs, introducing and mentoring cabin trainees throughout their career development program.
* Provide structured training and onboarding programs for newly hired cabin technicians.
* Conduct competency assessments for students, employees, contractors, and prospective candidates.
Recruitment & Outreach Initiatives
* Represent the company at aviation and technical schools, engaging with students to promote aircraft maintenance careers.
* Actively participate in career fairs and industry events, presenting company career development opportunities.
* Collaborate with HR and operational teams to attract, assess, and onboard new technical personnel.
Your Profile
* Technical Higher Secondary Education.
* At least 5 years of experience in cabin maintenance and holding at least 2 certifications for special skills.
* Good knowledge of EASA procedures.
* Languages: fluent English is required; Dutch and/or French is a plus.
* MS-Office and didactical skills are essential.
