What you will do
* Design and lead the enterprise data architecture strategy
* Build a greenfield Microsoft Fabric platform from the ground up
* Define scalable data models, governance standards and integration principles
* Establish a centralized data lake and single source of truth across business domains
* Translate business objectives into actionable analytics and reporting solutions
* Drive AI readiness by creating a robust, AI-by-design data foundation
* Manage and challenge external implementation and integration partners
* Standardize KPI definitions and improve enterprise reporting maturity
* Promote data literacy and data-driven decision-making across the organization
* Ensure compliance with GDPR, NIS2 and emerging AI governance requirements
* Collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
* Support the gradual transition away from legacy data environments
What you bring
* Strong experience in enterprise data architecture and modern data platforms
* Proven expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data ecosystem or comparable cloud platforms
* Experience leading large-scale data transformation initiatives
* Solid understanding of data governance, MDM and enterprise integrations
* Ability to manage external vendors and technical implementation partners
* Experience aligning business strategy with data and analytics capabilities
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Knowledge of AI readiness, analytics enablement and modern data operating models
* Understanding of GDPR, NIS2 and enterprise security standards
* Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and leadership capabilities
* Fluent Dutch/French and strong English communication skills
* Master’s degree or equivalent experience
