Position Overview:
The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of creative projects at Scruffy Dog Creative Group., ensuring that they are executed smoothly, within scope, on time, and within budget. This role is not design-focused but is project management-focused, requiring someone who can manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and support the senior management team in overseeing various aspects of the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Senior Project Manager in coordinating and overseeing all project phases, from initiation to completion. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure all deliverables are met.
* Break down project goals into tasks, assign responsibilities to the relevant teams, and track progress to ensure timely completion. Manage day-to-day activities and resolve any issues that arise.
* Act as the point of contact between internal teams (design, production, logistics, etc.) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, contractors). Ensure clear and consistent communication of project status, updates, and changes.
* Maintain accurate documentation of project details, schedules, budgets, and contracts. Provide regular project reports and updates to senior management and clients.
* Support in managing project budgets by tracking costs, preventing overruns, and ensuring resources are used efficiently.
* Identify potential risks to project timelines or quality and develop strategies to mitigate those risks in a timely manner.
* Communicate with clients regularly to gather feedback, ensure alignment on project goals, and address any concerns or revisions.
* Ensure that projects meet quality standards by assisting in the review process and confirming deliverables are on target.
* Assist with the post-project evaluation to gather insights, assess the success of the project, and implement lessons learned into future projects.
Key Skills & Experience:
Experience:
* 2-4 years of experience, More than 5 years in project management or coordination, ideally in the creative industry (media, entertainment, or similar). Proven Large Scale/ Complex and Dynamic Project Experience.
* Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage relationships and collaborate effectively across different teams.
* Problem-Solving: Strong ability to resolve issues quickly, keep projects moving forward, and adjust plans as needed.
* Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Technical Skill:
* Proficient in Excel: Dashboards production, Dynamic Spreadsheets, Pivot Tables. Understand if he has knowledge of Power BI. It can be very useful for this Size of the project, if can program in Excel.
* Database Management, Data Analysis.
* Agile Team Management Tools: Loop, Teams 365, Miro
* BIM Environment Knowledge desirable: In-depth knowledge of ISO 19650 and its application in digital project delivery and information management.
* Cloud-based platforms and Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as Aconex and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
