We are looking for a PMO Planning / Project Controls specialist to join a complex industrial CAPEX environment based in Herstal, Belgium.
This position is focused on the planning and control of complex industrial projects involving buildings, utilities, process areas, equipment installation, construction, revamping, brownfield/greenfield projects and commissioning.
This is not a production planning, supply planning or demand planning role. We are looking for someone with strong experience in industrial project planning and project controls, able to build and monitor integrated schedules, identify critical paths, anticipate risks, model scenarios and support Project Managers in structuring and improving their planning methodology.
The ideal candidate will combine technical planning expertise with a proactive and collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple industrial, engineering and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilitie
sEstablish, maintain and update the overall project schedule
.Create detailed planning for buildings, utilities, process areas and equipment installation
.Coordinate key milestones with project teams, engineering stakeholders, suppliers and external partners
.Identify critical paths, dependencies, risks, delays and planning constraints
.Analyse deviations between forecast and actual progress and propose corrective or recovery actions
.Contribute to scenario planning, buffer planning and schedule risk analysis
.Support budget follow-up, remaining work analysis and project performance reporting
.Integrate industrial, safety, regulatory and security-related constraints into the planning
.Support 4D planning follow-up in coordination with BIM and project teams when relevant
.Support and coach Project Managers on planning methodology, planning discipline and best practices

Required Profi
leExperience in PMO Planning, Project Controls, Project Planning, Lead Planning or Senior Project Planner role
s.Strong experience in industrial CAPEX projects, EPC, industrial construction, utilities, equipment installation, revamping, commissioning, plant expansion, brownfield or greenfield project
s.Good knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P
6.Strong understanding of baseline planning, critical path analysis, progress tracking, recovery planning, risk management, EVM and/or PER
