The Opportunity
We are seeking highly connected freelance Geopolitical Advisors with a robust, active network within European institutions and key member state political ecosystems. You will provide actionable intelligence, strategic analysis, and facilitated access to inform client decisions in foreign policy, trade, security, and defense.
This is a project-based, senior advisory role ideal for former officials, diplomats, policy experts, or senior strategists who maintain a powerful network and wish to leverage it in a flexible, high-impact capacity.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide real-time analysis and forecasting on European political, trade, security, and defense developments.
* Leverage your network to gather grounded intelligence and diverse perspectives on policy shifts and legislative agendas.
* Advise clients on stakeholder mapping, engagement strategies, and risk assessment within European capitals and EU institutions.
* Contribute to bespoke reports, briefings, and strategic recommendations for corporate and institutional clients.
* (Optional) Facilitate discreet, high-level introductions and dialogues for clients where appropriate.

Who You Are
* You possess a demonstrably robust and active network within the politics of the European Union and/or key member states (e.g., Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Benelux, Nordic states).
* You have deep substantive expertise in at least two of these areas: Foreign Policy, Trade & Economics, Security, Defense.
* You have a minimum of 10-15 years of professional experience in relevant fields (e.g., government, diplomacy, think tanks, strategic advisory, relevant journalism).
* You are adept at translating political and policy developments into clear, commercial, and strategic insights.
* You operate with the highest degree of discretion, integrity, and professional credibility.
* You are a proactive, clear communicator, comfortable working remotely with a team across time zones.
