Xeikon International designs, produces and sells high-quality digital color production printers. Xeikon is a world leader in industrial and commercial printing like commercial brochures, direct marketing, labels and packaging. In 2015 Xeikon became part of Flint Group. About the Role
We are looking for an HQ Service Engineer. Your primary responsibility is to install, commission and service our Xeikon dry-toner printing engines at customers. After extensive training, you will take full ownership of service interventions on behalf of Xeikon Headquarters across EMEA and the Rest of the World.
Responsibilities
* Installation and commissioning of Xeikon digital print engine
* Global Service interventions
* Take ownership of an installation and/or service interventions
* Report any quality-related issues internally and follow-up.
Qualifications
* 50% global travel
* English and Dutch; any additional language is a plus
* Located near the office
* Belgian work permit
Required Skills
* Technical educational degree
* Some years of experience in machine maintenance or field engineering is considered a plus.
* Capable of working with a multi-meter
* Experience as a mechanical engineer
* Good analytic skills and a quick learner of technical data
* Hands-on mentality and customer-oriented
* Self-supporting, flexible and stress-resistant
* Knowledge of inkjet or dry-toner is a strong plus
