As a hands-on Finance Lead, you will be based in Brussels and will be responsible in close collaboration with our external partners for all accounting, budget and reporting activities across the different entities in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. This is a 360° finance role requiring strong multitasking ability, combining operational finance, compliance, team coordination and strategic financial insight.
How you could invest your talent, expertise and motivation to
Create and reset financial reporting and strategy (hands on);
Process and establish analytical reporting and analytical accounting plan;
Responsible for operational real estate investments and continuous development and implementation of up to date digital, financial, and procedural tools;
Participate to creation of a new investment vehicle and investment structure;
Manage due diligence for investments and divestments;
Coordinate all accounting activities including statutory and tax obligations;
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the external accounting department (Belgium, Luxembourg and Netherlands);
Responsible for the reconciliation process;
Coordinate all Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable invoicing;
Ensure proper and timely follow-up of VAT declarations in consultation with external advisors;
Manage and ensure proper progress and completion of audits;
Responsible for monthly and yearly closing in collaboration with the auditor;
Manage and ensure that all processes are linked to a regulated internal environment and match external process (bank, financial organization, etc.);
You support in ad hoc projects;
Other tasks as assigned.
Who we are looking forward to meet
Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Economics or any related fields
at least 3 years of experience in a similar position;
Experience with consolidation;
Advanced user of Excel;
Accurate, analytical, hands-on and critical;
Able to work on an operational level as well as to manage;
Force of initiatives and ideas to improve processes;
All necessary coaching and leading skills to manage a small team;
Expert in creating financial awareness and discipline in the company;
Proactive, effective and able to identify issues quickly and solve them;
Willing to travel to our Luxembourg office from time to time;
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
Ability to analyse and to set priorities and act accordingly;
A very good command of French and English, Dutch is an asset.
