Product manager - securities lending and borrowing

Euroclear’s established securities lending programs maximise yield for lenders whilst providing liquidity and settlement efficiency for borrowers. The programs encompass two core services: Euroclear’s strategic driven GCA (Global Collateral Access) lending program and its settlement driven SLB Autoborrow program.

As Product Manager you will be part of a team that manages this suite of services offered by Euroclear and you will play an important role in the oversight, management and evolution of the securities lending product.

You will interact with all relevant internal stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Client Service, Risk, Operations and IT as well as external stakeholders including clients, service providers, market infrastructures and industry associations

Role

1. SLB/AutoBorrow: contribute to the product roadmap and pricing strategy, including commercial proposals, business cases, and stakeholder alignment.
2. GCA Front Office: exchange insights on borrowing demand, specific borrower opportunities including pricing aspects.
3. Sales & Relationship Division: Working with Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers to ensure effective product roll-out and visibility.
4. Product Business Analysts and Application Domain Management: engage and collaborate with the relevant teams for efficient Project management and on-time IT delivery.
5. Operations: providing the necessary support to ensure proper function of business as usual including the management of any escalations.
6. Incident Management: Take ownership of operational incidents and recalls, ensuring service continuity and effective client communication.
7. Regulation: Contribute to Euroclear’s T+1 operational‑day redesign for both SLB and GCA products.
8. Coordinate regulatory and legal work related to securities‑lending requirements and the onboarding of new asset classes, ensuring product, operational and legal alignment. Ensure the legal framework and documentation remains up to date
9. Banking and Credit: Develop an understanding of Euroclear’s risk framework and collateral schedules to assess opportunities for business growth.
10. Develop data‑led decision-making through KPIs, analytics, and business opportunity identification
11. Audit and Risk Management: Ensure an accurate and efficient control framework at all times

Your Profile

Product & Analytical Skills

12. Demonstrate product‑management capabilities (roadmaps, pricing, business cases).
13. Ability to interpret market data, identify trends, developing business cases and build actionable insights.
14. Ability to formulate and drive strategies forward.
15. Problem solving: Can navigate effectively through complex challenges and make strategic decisions based on a comprehensive understanding of facts to address complex issues.

Market Infrastructure

16. Have an understanding of securities lending, settlement cycles, liquidity, and recall processes
17. Ability to translate market and regulatory changes (. T+1) into operational and product impacts.

Operational & Risk Awareness

18. Ability to navigate operational escalations and cross‑team dependencies.
19. Have an insight into settlement flows, credit/liquidity considerations, and operational‑day design.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

20. Good communication and alignment skills across multiple stakeholders (Ops, IT, Trading, Risk, Legal, Commercial)
21. Networking: A willingness to build and maintain an extensive and influential professional network and to foster collaboration and information knowledge exchange.

Leadership Development Skills

22. Comfortable driving clarity in technical or ambiguous situations.
23. You seek autonomy, thrive in less structured environments and welcome challenges to your views.
