About the Role
The Security Manager position involves providing advisory and monitoring services to sites on security issues, supporting the implementation of new projects and upgrades, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Belgian Generation perimeter. This role requires a strong background in law enforcement, military, private security, HSE or a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
Responsibilities
* Advisory and Monitoring: Provide binding advice management to sites on security issues, support implementation of new projects and upgrades, and track KPIs for the Belgian Generation perimeter.
* Compliance and Alignment: Ensure action plans align with EU/Country legislation and Group Policies and Standards.
* Standards and Procedures: Establish and maintain security standards, procedures, and tools for risk analysis, incident management, and guarding.
* Coordination and Communication: Act as the main contact for the Brussels Control Center and coordinate physical security measures (badges, cameras, alarms, etc.).
* Protection and Awareness: Protect sensitive information by raising staff awareness and ensuring compliance with Group information classification.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Educational and Professional Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience in law enforcement, military, private security, HSE or a strong interest in security with a commitment to training.
* Policy and Procedure Expertise: Ability to interpret, create, and update security policies and support local teams in implementation.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background to develop and follow up on security projects and upgrades.
* Crisis Management and Coordination: Capable of working under pressure, managing crises, and coordinating with diverse teams and third-party subcontractors.
* Communication and Language Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to provide briefings, and proficient in Dutch or French with working knowledge of the other language and English.
