As a Freelance Process Engineer your responsibilities are:
* Lead NPI, Product Transfers (PTF), and innovation projects at site level
* Coordinate and execute First Time Makes (factory trials) in collaboration with technical teams
* Act as key interface with central innovation and technical stakeholders
* Analyze production performance and identify root causes of losses and KPI gaps
* Drive and facilitate root cause analysis and continuous improvement actions
* Support teams in data collection and extraction to enable CI and daily management systems (DMS)
* Optimize processes to increase throughput and reduce waste
* Develop and implement work instructions for new processes and products
* Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams
* Contribute to improvements in efficiency, quality, safety, and environmental performance
A successful Freelance Process Engineer should have:
* Proven experience as a process engineer/expert in a manufacturing environment
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Bioengineer)
* Strong background in continuous improvement and root cause analysis
* Hands-on experience with data analysis and production systems (e.g., SAP, MES/SCADA)
* Ability to work cross-functionally and influence operational teams
* Languages: French required, with English and Dutch at working level
