Job Description
As a Freelance Supply Chain Officer your responsibilities are:
* Manage end-to-end supply chain operations (orders, planning, stock, logistics)
* Coordinate with production, assembly, repair, and warranty activities
* Act as the main point of contact for customer service and supply chain topics
* Handle supplier management and purchasing, including price negotiations
* Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of critical components
* Anticipate and mitigate supply chain disruptions (e.g. electronics shortages)
* Allocate components efficiently across different products and business needs
* Manage claims, delays, and escalations with a proactive approach
* Collaborate with international stakeholders (Belgium, Netherlands, UK)
* Ensure operational continuity during the transition period
The Successful Applicant
A successful Freelance Supply Chain Officer should have:
* Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations in an industrial environment
* Strong understanding of manufacturing, assembly, and technical components (electronics is a plus)
* Hands‑on, operational, and solution‑oriented mindset
* Experience in customer service and stakeholder management
* Strong negotiation skills with suppliers
* Comfortable in an international and fast‑changing environment
* Languages: French (mandatory), English (professional), Dutch (a plus)
