To support those activities, we are looking for passionate and talented engineer with a user-centric mindset.
As mechanism engineer, you will join an efficient team that works on cutting-edge products from their inception to their final assembly in the satellite: our activities range from performing the concept trade-offs and the overall design studies to the validation of the product through extensive testing.
Key Activities
Support or lead the development of mechanism systems Department (SADA, Gimbal…)
Support all aspects of the development: specification, design, integration, test, commissioning
Perform concept trade-off, carry out overall design studies and validate the product through extensive testing
Support or lead a team of multi-disciplinary engineers working on mechanism project
Support the other teams in fulfilling their duties: system engineering, project management, AIT, avionics, AOCS, procurement,... Mechanisms can be found in most parts of the satellite!
Profile / Requirements :
Must have
MSc degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field
5y+ experience in Electro-mechanical Engineering functions
Know-how / experience in mechanism design (non-space mechanism is fine), the more you know the better
Demonstrated ability to work across the team and company to drive designs to completion in full autonomy
Ability to learn quickly
Good communication skills
Fluency in English
Nice To have
Experience in space mechanism design and development
Experience in leading new projects starting from scratch
Hands-on experience in tribology
Proficiency with common industry mechanical/electronic design software
