A leading company in the sustainability sector is seeking a talented Consolidation & Reporting Analyst to join their headquarters in Merksem. As a Consolidation & Reporting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for an international group. Working closely with the Senior Consolidation Specialist, you'll contribute to delivering high-quality consolidated results under IFRS standards while driving improvements in processes and tools.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing monthly consolidated financial statements aligned with IFRS and internal guidelines.
* Analyzing and interpreting financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Collaborating effectively within a team of 3 to achieve shared goals.
* Identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing best practices.
* Handling complex topics such as acquisitions, divestments, goodwill/badwill, and equity reconciliations.
* Supporting Business Intelligence and Performance Management teams with insights and ad-hoc reports.
* Becoming a subject matter expert on consolidation topics and representing them in technical discussions.
To excel in this role, you bring:
* A bachelor's degree (or higher) in economics or finance.
* At least 3 years of experience as an Auditor or Financial Controller, with solid knowledge of IFRS.
* The ability to simplify complex financial information and communicate it effectively.
* A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and confidence in engaging with diverse stakeholders.
* Fluency in English; additional languages like Dutch, French, or Spanish are a plus.
