Your expertise will directly impact operational efficiency, security, compliance, and user adoption — ensuring the business is equipped to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.What You'll Be DoingConduct comprehensive audits of Microsoft 365 configurations, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.Assess and optimize Microsoft Intune for mobile device and app management.Evaluate and enhance Microsoft Defender configurations to maximize security effectiveness.Analyze Microsoft 365 license usage, driving cost-effective allocation and utilization.Audit Microsoft Teams usage, including telephony, and implement strategies for optimal collaboration and communication.Develop a strategic roadmap for Microsoft 365 optimization tailored to organizational needs.Design and deliver support plans for IT and end users, including training programs and workshops.Oversee configuration and administration of Microsoft Teams, Intune, and Defender, ensuring best-in-class performance and security.Implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms for ongoing performance and compliance.Drive continuous improvement by integrating new Microsoft 365 features and responding to evolving business needs.Ensure all configurations and practices meet security standards and regulatory compliance, collaborating closely with the security team.Foster a collaborative environment, sharing knowledge and ensuring skill transfer with the existing Microsoft 365 administrator.Support and train both IT teams and end users, elevating digital skills across the organization.Travel as needed to various business units across Wallonia to engage with stakeholders and understand operational needs.What We're Looking ForProven expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, configuration, and optimization.Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Teams (including telephony and collaboration features).Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve technical challenges.In-depth knowledge of security and compliance best practices, including experience with NIS2 or ISO a plus).Ability to design and deliver impactful training and support programs for both IT and end users.Experience managing Microsoft 365 migration projects and working with add-on services such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.Demonstrated ownership, adaptability, and a passion for continuous improvement.Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Collaborative spirit, eager to share knowledge and foster a culture of learning and innovation.Technical Skills & CertificationsMicrosoft 365 (Expert, current experience)Microsoft Intune (Expert, recent experience)Microsoft Defender (Expert, recent experience)Microsoft Teams (Expert, current experience)Azure Active Directory (Expert, current experience)Microsoft Entra ID (Confirmed, recent experience)SharePoint (Confirmed, current experience)Purview (Junior, current experience)Project Management (Confirmed, recent experience)Client orientation (Confirmed, current experience)Recommended certifications: Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Security/Compliance/Identity Fundamentals, Enterprise Administrator Expert, Teams Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900) is a plus.Language ProficiencyFrench: Native (required, both written and spoken)English: Nice to haveOther RequirementsFreelance position – 16-month project durationHybrid work: Primarily on-site in Namur, with two fixed telework days per week (Mondays on-site mandatory)Flexibility to travel to business units across Wallonia as neededWorking hours aligned with internal teams: Start between 7:30–9:00, lunch between 11:45–14:00, end between 16:00–19:00Experience in the passenger transport sector is a plusReady to build the future with us?
