To strengthen our Sustainability Department, we are looking for a motivated and proactive intern to join our team in Brussels for 4 to 6 months as from beginning of April 2026.
Internship Overview
Under the guidance of the Sustainability Team, you will contribute to a variety of internal sustainability initiatives, including:
* Preparing sustainability reports
* Supporting the EcoVadis labelization process
* Organizing and facilitating sustainability workshops
* Writing sustainability-related articles for internal and external audiences
* Assisting in the organization of sustainability‐focused events
* Contributing to awareness and engagement campaigns
Avertim's internal sustainability governance is built around five key pillars: Governance, People, Collectivity, Environment, and our Sustainability Service Line.
Within this structure, your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting initiatives and projects linked to each sustainability pillar
* Assisting with company-wide engagement campaigns (e.g., Pink Month)
* Coordinating partnerships and stakeholder interactions
* Creating impactful presentations and communication materials
* Strengthening and contributing to our overall sustainability communication strategy
Profile & Requirements
We're looking for someone who is:
* Currently pursuing a Master's degree (minimum Master 1 level) in Sustainability, Business Administration, Management with focus on Sustainability or Corporate Sustainability.
* Fluent in French, with working proficiency in English and/or Dutch
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills
* Proactive, rigourous, curious, and eager to contribute in a collaborative team environment
* Strong communication skills and confortable with powerpoint.
* A first internship or relevant experience in sustainability is a plus
