Electromechanical Engineer
who enjoys working at the intersection of electrical and mechanical engineering — and who wants to see their work make a real impact.
Based in
Ghent
, you'll be involved in the engineering, optimisation, and realisation of energy installations used in industrial, power, or renewable environments. This is a hands-on, technically challenging role with room to grow.
What you'll be working on
You'll take responsibility for electromechanical systems throughout the project lifecycle, from design to commissioning. This includes:
* Engineering and optimising
electromechanical installations
within energy projects
* Collaborating closely with electrical, mechanical, and automation colleagues
* Supporting technical decisions during execution and commissioning phases
* Analysing system performance and solving technical issues on site or remotely
* Ensuring designs meet safety, quality, and industry standards
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone who combines solid engineering fundamentals with practical insight:
* A degree in
Electromechanical Engineering
(or equivalent experience)
* Experience in the
energy sector
(power, renewables, grids, or industrial energy)
* Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems
* A proactive, solution-oriented mindset
* Comfortable working in project-based environments
* Fluent in
English
; Dutch is a strong advantage
