The organization is engaged in a large-scale digital and organizational transformation aimed at modernizing its processes, strengthening operational efficiency, and better meeting the expectations of citizens and field services.
This transformation is driven by the Digital Transformation Office (DTO), the strategic engine of the organization, reporting to the Digital Transformation Officer. The DTO defines the digital strategy, manages transformation initiatives, and ensures alignment across all programs.
Its approach is built on three complementary pillars: IT, innovation, and data intelligence.
The DTO operates within a structured transformation framework based on five key areas:
* Defining and structuring initiatives (intake, program management, target operating model, legal aspects)
* Foundations and standardization, including modernization of IT infrastructure, security, data integration, and stabilization of core systems (\"Fix the basics\")
* Transformation of business domains, both administrative and operational, with a citizen-centric focus
* Innovation, including the integration of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence
* Cross-functional governance to ensure coordination between leadership bodies and operational units, as well as change management support
Project
We are collaborating with the Federal Public Service Justice on the ePV project, an initiative aimed at digitizing and modernizing official reports. The goal is not only to replace paper-based reports with a digital format, but also to optimize the overall management process.
The ePV project pursues several objectives:
* Digitization of reports:
* Fully digital creation and sharing of reports to increase efficiency and reduce administrative workload
* Simplified management:
* Easier handling and processing of reports, reducing errors and improving coordination between stakeholders
* Faster processing:
* Automation of digital workflows to shorten processing times and improve collaboration across departments
These efforts contribute to a more modern, transparent, and efficient relationship between public services and the judicial system, helping build a more effective and future-oriented ecosystem.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:
* Gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements
* Defining project scope
* Collaborating with internal and external development teams
* Working closely with various stakeholders
* Acting as a bridge between business and technical teams
* Supporting end users in adopting developed tools
* Participating in and delivering information/training sessions
* Creating and maintaining documentation
* Communicating updates, changes, and issues through designated channels
* Providing second-line support
* Reporting on ongoing projects
* Delivering impact analysis
Soft skills
* Experience in the public sector
* Strong communication and writing skills (Dutch, French, and English)
* Ability to analyze and map systems, processes, and issues
* Client- and solution-oriented mindset
