We are looking for a hands-on and analytical professional to strengthen our IT team and help drive digitalization, data-driven decision making and system optimization across Xandres.
As our Application & Data Specialist, you play a key role in connecting business and technology, with a strong focus on leveraging data, fostering innovation, and exploring AI opportunities. You will ensure that our applications, data, and processes not only run smoothly and efficiently, but also support smart decision-making and continuous improvement.
You report to the IT manager and will be part of a small, dynamic IT team. As our Application & Data Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Applications
Managing and optimizing core business applications (ERP, POS, E-comm, Microsoft Fabric, …)
Coordinating application releases, incidents and change requests
Testing and documenting new features, updates and integrations
Monitoring and troubleshooting applications, integrations and scripts
Data & reporting
Managing and enhancing data models and reporting in Power BI and Business Objects
Ensuring data quality and maintenance of master data
Contributing to the development of our Modern Data Platform in Microsoft Fabric
Together with our business analyst, set-up a structured and well-organized reporting environment for all business users
As an AI champion, pro-actively advise the business on technological possibilities and best practices
Setting up and managing the innovation & AI roadmap within the company
Application management or ERP environments
Data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar
Managing integrations and data flows between systems
A true bridge-builder between IT and business
Bachelor/master degree in IT, informatics or related field
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in application management, data and reporting
Fluent in English
