Your main mission: managing the site’s full accounting operations As a Senior Plant Accountant, you will be responsible for statutory accounting (BE‑GAAP), certain IFRS aspects, financial reporting, monthly and annual closings, taxation, treasury activities, and internal control processes. You will play a key role in financial analysis and in improving the site’s performance. Accounting & Reporting Ensure and supervise daily accounting operations. Manage annual accounts and coordinate internal and external audits. Prepare the official balance sheet for the National Bank of Belgium (BNB). Prepare annual tax returns. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper general ledger maintenance. Financial Management & Internal Control Execute financial transactions required to meet reporting obligations. Manage AP (Accounts Payable) and AR (Accounts Receivable) processes. Management Support & Financial Analysis Compile and analyze financial data to support site decisions. Work closely with the Site Controller to improve operational and financial performance. CAPEX & Cost Accounting Maintain and review cost accounting in SAP. Calculate new costs and perform monthly cost analyses. ➡ You will report directly to the Site Controller. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting Fluent in English (spoken and written) Proficient in SAP (FI & CO modules) (nice to have) Strong skills in Power BI and advanced Excel Assets: CPA / CMA certifications and experience in an industrial environment Personal qualities Proactive, strong team spirit A permanent contract (CDI) with an attractive salary package, including: meal vouchers (€10/day), hospital insurance, a 13th‑month salary, an annual bonus, etc. The Nanocyl HR Team
