Context:
We design and operate real-time critical systems that play a central role in managing complex infrastructures. As part of our growth, we're looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer with a strong focus on automation and hands-on expertise in Puppet (recent versions).
Your mission: enhance the security, reliability, and efficiency of our software delivery lifecycle by embedding DevOps practices and integrating security at every stage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement advanced infrastructure automation using Puppet, leveraging its modern features (e.g., Plans, Bolt, etc.).
* Maintain and evolve secure CI/CD pipelines, embedding security from the early development stages (Security by Design).
* Collaborate with system, development, and security teams to ensure seamless, secure deployments.
* Conduct architecture reviews and propose enhancements to software and network security.
* Contribute to code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and secure coding standards.
* Implement tools and processes for vulnerability detection and automated remediation.
* Continuously explore and test new technologies, document best practices, and support team knowledge sharing.
🎯 Profile We’re Looking For:
Must-Haves:
* Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, ideally in critical or regulated environments.
* Deep knowledge of Puppet (version 7+), including ecosystem tools and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
* Strong experience with Linux environments (Red Hat / CentOS).
* Proficient with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
* Solid scripting skills (Shell, Python, etc.).
* Strong security mindset: risk analysis, remediation strategies, secure code practices.
* Able to document solutions and guide other team members.
* Languages: fluent in either French or Dutch + good command of technical English.
