About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Oncologist Doctor to join our multidisciplinary oncology team.
This role involves diagnosing and managing patients with cancer, developing individualised treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based oncology care in collaboration with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and specialist nurses.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and stage oncological conditions using clinical assessment and diagnostic tools
* Develop and implement personalised cancer treatment plans (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, etc.)
* Monitor treatment response and manage therapy-related side effects
* Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary oncology team
* Provide clear and empathetic communication to patients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options
* Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
* Participate in tumour boards, case discussions, and clinical audits
* Stay updated with advances in oncology, clinical trials, and treatment protocols
Requirements
* Medical degree with specialisation in Oncology (Medical Oncology / Clinical Oncology / Haematology-Oncology, as applicable)
* Valid medical licence to practise
* Proven experience in cancer diagnosis and systemic treatment management
* Strong clinical decision-making and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and patient counselling abilities
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Nice to Have
* Experience in clinical research or participation in oncology trials
* Subspecialty focus (e.g., breast oncology, thoracic oncology, gastrointestinal oncology, haematologic malignancies)
* Advanced training in precision medicine or molecular oncology
* Leadership experience within oncology departments
