We're working with one of the fastest growing FinTech scale-ups in Belgium. Based in Dendermonde (open to remote work), they are looking for a Golang Developer to help build out the next generation of financial infrastructure.
With a focus on both traditional finance and cryptocurrency, the company partners with established players across Belgium to deliver secure and scalable backend systems. As they continue to grow, they’re looking for someone who thrives in a high-autonomy environment and enjoys solving real-world problems with efficient code.
Responsibilities
* Designing and building performant, secure backend services using Go
* Integrating with financial APIs, payment networks, and crypto platforms
* Contributing to the architectural decisions that power scalable infrastructure
* Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in peer reviews
* Collaborating closely with DevOps and front-end teams to ensure smooth deployments
* Exploring and applying best practices in system performance, data security, and fault tolerance
Your Profile
* Solid experience with Golang in a production environment
* Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and secure service design
* Bonus points if you’ve worked with Python, TypeScript, or Rust
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, or Azure)
* Knowledge of crypto protocols or payment networks is a plus—but not required
* Someone proactive, collaborative, and not afraid to suggest better ways of doing things
