We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in business intelligence (BI) and data analytics to develop high-performance digital solutions for a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization to design and implement data pipelines and data visualizations, and to ensure sustainability, data integrity, availability, and security of digital solutions.Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: Data Extraction, Integration, Transformation, Automation, Orchestration & Visualization: * Build and maintain data pipelines using MS Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks and SQL * Integrate data from SAP ERP, MES and enterprise sources ensuring high quality and security* Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, Advanced Degree strongly preferred. Statistics, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required. * At least 5-8 years of post-academic work/industry experience is required * Proficiency in Data Modeling (Azure, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Databricks) is required. * Proficiency in complex data transformation (SQL, Python, R) is required. * Experience in data flow mapping & advanced data visualization tools: MS Fabric, MS Power BI and Tableau * Familiarity with SAP ERP & MES System * Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and strong data management skills are required. * Fluency in languages English & Dutch is required.
