Objective
As a Supervisor Ocean Export, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations f the ocean export department. You will ensure the efficient and accurate handling of all export shipments while providing clear and timely reporting to the Ocean Business Manager. With your expertise and leadership skills, you will guide the team toward achieving its export targets and maintaining high service standards.

Skills and qualifications
* Coordinating and guiding the daily export activities within the department.
* Checking export documents to ensure they meet all regulations, including customs rules and Incoterms.
* Preparing clear, accurate reports on export volumes, KPIs, and any irregularities for management.
* Delegating tasks within the team and ensuring workloads are balanced.
* Solving operational issues and finding practical solutions to keep shipments on track.
* Supporting and motivating your team to achieve both individual and departmental goals.
* Acting as a backup for colleagues when needed.
* Handling various administrative tasks related to export shipments.
Qualifications and education requirements
* Bachelors of Master’s degree in logistics, international trade, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in the export or logistics sector, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Strong understanding of export regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
* Proficiency in export management systems and related operational software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication in Dutch, English and French.
* In-depth knowledge of export regulations and compliance, including customs and Incoterms.
