About the job: Based in Brain l’Alleud you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the NATO Infrastructure Services Centre (NISC), which is accountable for planning and executing the full lifecycle management activities (design, transition and operations) for the identified area of responsibility. NISC provides generic, domain independent, technical functionality that enables and facilitates the operation and use of Information Technology resources. This is a temporary location pending completion of the new SHAPE facility at Camp Casteau in Mons. The Braine L’Alleud site is expected to close by end 2027, with future duty stations shifting to Brussels or Mons, depending on function and business needs. We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Data Analyst who will take on the following roles and responsibilities: Deliver end-to-end data analytics and business intelligence solutions, from data ingestion and transformation to modelling, validation and visualisation. Design and maintain dashboards and analytical products providing insight into network and datacentre performance, platform health, and CMDB/ITSM compliance. Produce trend analysis, forecasting, and capacity and performance insights to support operational readiness and service optimisation. Design and operate robust ETL/ELT pipelines integrating network, platform, datacentre and CMDB/ITSM data, ensuring data quality, integrity, security and automation. Contribute to the design and evolution of the NISC Data Lake, defining data models, metadata, lineage and trusted enterprise datasets. Support data governance, KPI/SLA reporting and CMDB data quality initiatives in compliance with NATO security and data protection standards. Define and manage requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with business priorities. Design, develop, test and maintain moderately complex programs and scripts in line with agreed standards. Apply data modelling techniques to establish and maintain structured, reliable data assets. Create reports and visualisations that clearly communicate insights to stakeholders. About you: The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are: A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline (such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Information science, economics, business analytics, finance, sociology, psychology) and 2 years role-related experience. Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the role. 2 years’ experience in data cleaning and data manipulation techniques. Proficiency in programming and relevant data tools. Communication and data visualization skills to effectively present insights. Problem-solving skills for critical thinking and creative solutions. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, including interpretation, and visualization. Ability to communicate complex information clearly.
