Mission Overview
Keystone Solutions is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to join our consultancy team for a long-term mission at a client site. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will reinforce existing teams within a major business transformation program, ensuring the hand-over, refactoring, or greenfield development of new business applications. You will handle all phases of projects in an Agile environment while collaborating closely with client stakeholders.
Consultancy Model at Keystone Solutions
This position operates under Keystone Solutions’ consultancy model. You will work on-site and in hybrid mode with the client as a Keystone Solutions consultant, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. You will represent Keystone Solutions’ values and quality standards throughout each engagement, aligning delivery with client goals while benefiting from Keystone Solutions’ support and community.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop strong and long-term relationships with stakeholders (business and project stakeholders, team managers and our partners).
* Identify, analyze, describe and validate both existing business processes and new (non)functional needs of the users.
* Translate requirements into business solutions by creating functional analyses and application designs.
* Collaborate with technical team members to validate the functional design and translate it into technical specifications.
* Provide end-to-end follow-up on the delivery of new functionalities and/or applications.
* Produce all documentation needed throughout the different stages of projects.
* Work closely with business analysts and developers under the supervision of the project manager/coordinators to refine and validate proposed solutions.
* Report status, facilitate decisions, manage risks and escalate as needed in collaboration with project managers.
As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will perform all the above responsibilities in close collaboration with the client, ensuring Agile best practices and high-quality delivery.
Deliverables
The senior analyst is responsible for delivering, with respect to the deadlines, the following:
* Analysis documentation.
* Software requirements specifications (including needed diagrams, analysis, etc.).
* Data model.
* User stories.
* Test plan and cases.
Mission & Working Hours
* Based in Brussels (right in front of South Station).
* Initial contract; long-term mission with possibility of extension.
* 5 days per week (7h48 per day). Homeworking is possible (3 days a week).
Languages
* French or Dutch: active knowledge (understanding, speaking, writing technical documentation, reading).
* English: active knowledge (writing documentation).
Competencies
* Very good functional and business analysis skills to assimilate complex material quickly.
* Excellent oral and written communication with the business and development team.
* Solution- and customer-oriented.
* Good ability to abstract complex material.
* Willing to change business context regularly.
* Ability to integrate easily into an existing team and supervise juniors.
* Familiar with AGILE/SCRUM methodologies.
* Extensive application ecosystem with classic development technologies (J2EE, Java8, Oracle, Hibernate, Junit, Selenium, Maven, GIT, JIRA).
* Analyst functions do not require technical tasks, but it is necessary to master the technical language to carry out functional analyses (APIs, mappings, business model, batches, services, etc.).
* Business Analysis - interface with the client and help define their needs.
* A good knowledge of a second national language is a plus.
* Belgian nationality is required due to the nature of the activities.

* Main address: Avenue Fonsny, 20 - 1060 Bruxelles.
Consultancy Nature of Work
* Operate as a Keystone Solutions consultant embedded with the client’s teams.
* Combine on-site presence in Brussels with remote work (up to 3 days a week, per client policy).
* Engage with business and IT stakeholders to ensure requirements are captured, designed, documented, tested, and delivered end-to-end.
Dynamic Projects
* Join a department of about 90 people at the client site working on large-scale transformation initiatives.
* Contribute to hand-over, refactoring, and greenfield developments across multiple applications.
* Work within an Agile context that values iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
Learning and Development
* Broaden expertise in functional analysis, BPMN, UML, testing, and Agile practices across varied client challenges.
* Gain exposure to a robust ecosystem: J2EE, Java8, Oracle, Hibernate, Junit, Selenium, Maven, GIT, JIRA.
