Today, we are recruiting on behalf of one of our partners, a world leader in multi-technical services, a Section Manager within a project engineering entity specialising in sustainable energy solutions for industry.This division is rapidly growing, active in Waste-to-Energy, district heating networks, battery storage, Carbon Capture and many other energy transition technologies. You will join a passionate team, with a true technical and people leadership role, at the heart of projects worth up to 50 million euros.Your responsibilitiesEnsure the quality and efficiency of engineering deliverables across tenders and projectsCoordinate and harmonise work between the different engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, thermal)Manage a team of engineers: talent development, resource planning, day-to-day leadershipContinuously improve internal practices, tools, procedures and standards, including the integration of AI toolsSupport commercial bids by representing the engineering department to clientsAnalyse complex price requests, define the strategy and mobilise the right resourcesContribute to contractual aspects and ensure control of technical and financial risksIntegrate health & safety requirements across all engineering workConvince clients of the added value of the proposed solutionsYour profileMaster's degree in engineeringMinimum 10 years of experience in a project-oriented industrial environment, including EPC experienceStrong knowledge of thermal processes (heat exchangers, Rankine cycles…) – Waste-to-Energy experience is an assetGood command of QA systems, ISO 9001 and CE certificationKnowledge of public procurement in Belgium and/or FranceFinancial skills related to projects and cost centresStrong contractual mindset and solid risk managementRecognised leadership and confirmed people management experienceInterest in digital tools and innovation in engineeringExcellent communicator, solution- and results-orientedTrilingual French / Dutch / EnglishWhat's on offerHighly competitive salary package, in line with your training and experience, up to €112,000 gross/yearCompany car with electric charging card + bike leasing planSmartphone with subscription + internet allowanceGroup insurance and hospitalisation coverageEco-vouchers, meal vouchers, representation expenses, 13th month, holiday payPublic transport subscription, RTT leave, seniority leave, remote workingBenefits via Benefits@Work (culture, sport, travel…)Position based in Grimbergen (Brussels)Interested?
