Position overview
This position is accountable for the overall end-to-end integration of the Plan systems across the J&J MedTech Supply Chain. The individual will shape and deploy the overarching MedTech Plan system vision and comprehensive strategy in alignment with stakeholders. This includes developing a clear and aligned capability roadmap across core planning processes and technologies, and ensuring their integration within the digital landscape. The role requires strong experience in supply chain, planning systems, end-to-end and strategic thinking, digital acumen, and partnership with senior executives within MedTech SC functions.
This position reports to the MedTech Plan Digital Lead within the J&J MedTech Supply Chain Digital organization.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Develop the MedTech Plan System vision & strategy, integrating it into the MT SC digital transformation roadmap.
* Develop, refine, and implement strategies to enhance the maturity of our plan systems globally.
* Define and manage the multi-year roadmap, including strategic investments and capabilities transformation.
* Stay informed about emerging planning concepts and select technology partners accordingly.
* Establish strong alignment with partner functions such as J&J Technology, MT SC Digital, Commercial, Business Unit Supply Chain & Regional Value Chains.
Qualifications & Experience
Education, experience:
* Masters in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, or equivalent; MBA preferred.
* At least 8-10 years in Supply Chain/Operations, with experience in the MedTech industry a plus.
* Project Management certification (FPX PL or PMP) required; FPX SME preferred.
* APICS certification preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Strategic thinking, planning, communication, and influencing skills.
* Understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies.
* Strong background in Supply Chain Planning processes and systems, with digital expertise.
* Global experience and cultural awareness, with experience working in virtual and matrix organizations.
* Analytical skills, excellent communication, and team management abilities.
* Knowledge of external supply chain trends and best practices.
Travel requirements: 20-30% international travel.
