Freelance AI Architect - Halle, Belgium | Freelance / Contract
A leading Belgian retail organisation is seeking a senior‑level Freelance AI Architect to define and lead its enterprise AI roadmap, spanning both internal capabilities and customer‑facing solutions.
Key focus:
* Define the AI target architecture and multi‑year roadmap
* Identify and prioritise high‑impact AI use cases across the retail value chain
* Design enterprise‑grade AI/ML and data architectures
* Advise senior stakeholders and guide delivery teams and partners
Your background:
* Senior experience as AI Architect / Principal AI Lead / Head of AI (freelance or consulting)
* Deep expertise in AI/ML architectures, data platforms and cloud ecosystems
* Proven track record delivering AI at scale
* Comfortable operating at boardroom and technical depths
* Retail, FMCG or consumer‑driven environments preferred
* Fluent English (Dutch/French a plus)
