The Role:
As a Sales Excellence Bid Manager, you’ll oversee deal teams throughout the bid lifecycle, ensuring resources are aligned to develop, negotiate, and deliver compelling proposals that exceed client expectations.
You’ll work closely with colleagues from Accenture BeLux Health and Public Service (H&PS) practice, as well as proposal managers, solution architects, sales leads, senior management, and subject‑matter experts across Accenture. The H&PS practice supports public sector organizations, including the European Union and Belgian governmental institutions, in embracing innovation and delivering smarter, more impactful services for citizens.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand client needs and collaborate with deal leadership to define value propositions, win strategies, and key messages.
* Identify required expertise and plan resources to develop compelling offers.
* Drive bid activities and facilitate communication across teams and workstreams.
* Build and nurture positive relationships within the deal team and with clients.
* Seek opportunities to optimize bid management processes and tools.
* Foster continuous learning and knowledge sharing for personal and team development.
* Coordinate public procurement procedures for EU and other public sector clients.
* Collaborate with third‑party vendors and consortium partners.
* Manage internal stakeholders effectively.
* Support pre‑and post‑sales initiatives, including opportunity identification and win/loss reviews.

Must‑Have:
* Bachelor’s degree.
* At least 7 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
* Proven ability to collaborate and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.
* Fluency in English and Dutch (oral and written).
Nice‑to‑Have:
* Fluency in French (oral and written).
* MBA or equivalent degree.
* Experience in sales, sales enablement, and negotiation fundamentals, including pipeline management, deal qualification, design thinking, competitive positioning, client relationship strategy, contract management, deal shaping, or financial modeling.
* Understanding of outsourcing, system integration, strategy & consulting, business process services, or current technology trends such as Cloud and Security.
* Experience in the professional services industry.
* Experience managing large, global, multi‑million‑dollar opportunities with diverse workstreams.

* Willingness to travel domestically or internationally occasionally, as required.
