Fund ControllerOur client is leading global active asset manager, with a strong presence in Luxembourg. Their mission is to create long-term value for clients through responsible investment strategies across both public and private markets, with a strong commitment to sustainability and client partnerships .As a Fund controller, you will take ownership of the day-to-day fund operations and act as the key contact point for Luxembourg-domiciled alternative investment vehicles. You will work closely with internal teams and service providers to ensure smooth operations and reporting. Your tasks include:
* Managing daily operational activities and responding to ad hoc queries related to Luxembourg-domiciled alternative funds
* Supporting cash and investor event processes such as capital calls, distributions, internal transfers, and NAV reporting
* Executing and monitoring fund expenses, payments, and management/performance fee calculations
* Overseeing service provider performance (Fund Accounting, Custody, Depositary), ensuring service level adherence and KPI monitoring
* Participating in audit preparation, regulatory reporting, and data reconciliation activities
* Maintaining internal documentation, processes, SLAs, and operating memos
* Contributing to the global optimization of the Private Markets operations model for fund accounting and custody
* Collaborating cross-functionally with internal departments (Tax, Legal, Investment Teams) and external stakeholders
* Leading or contributing to automation and process enhancement initiatives
As a Fund controller, your profile is described as follows:
* A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
* At least 3 years of experience in asset management, fund administration, or auditing with a focus on Luxembourg fund structures
* Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP, IFRS, and private markets operations (PE, Infrastructure, Real Estate, FoFs)
* Familiarity with custody, depositary, and regulatory reporting
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail, structured thinking, and a drive to optimize processes
* Technically inclined, ideally with exposure to automation tools and system enhancements
* Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
* Excellent command of English ; knowledge of German, French and Luxembourgish is considered an asset
