As an Analog PCB Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing high-performance electronic systems for cutting-edge applications in space communication, earth observation, and nuclear energy. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and validating analog and mixed-signal PCBs that integrate custom ASICs and support high-reliability systems operating under extreme conditions.
This role bridges design and test engineering, offering a dynamic environment where you'll contribute across the full product lifecycle, from architecture and schematic capture to prototyping, testing, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate system-level requirements into robust analog and mixed-signal PCB designs.
- Perform schematic capture, simulations (e.g., LTSpice), PCB layout, and 3D modeling.
- Design and develop test hardware including custom test boards for ASIC validation.
- Develop Python-based automation scripts for testing and data analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during integration and testing phases.
- Maintain clear and traceable documentation throughout the development cycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve design and testing methodologies.
Profile / Requirements :
Your Profile:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Solid experience in analog and mixed-signal PCB design and testing.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols.
- Proficiency with design tools such as LTSpice, Altium Designer, or similar.
- Programming skills in Python and C; knowledge of VHDL/Verilog is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus.
