We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead high‑impact cybersecurity initiatives within a complex, multi‑stakeholder organisation. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you take full ownership of CISO‑driven projects — from planning and governance to delivery and compliance.
You’ll work at the intersection of business, IT, and security, ensuring that critical security controls, standards, and processes are implemented effectively across the organisation. This is a role for someone who thrives in demanding environments, enjoys making clarity out of complexity, and is comfortable being fully accountable for outcomes.
What You’ll Do
* Lead end‑to‑end delivery of major CISO initiatives — from scoping to execution and final hand‑over.
* Translate security and compliance requirements into actionable project plans aligned with organisational goals.
* Manage resources, risks, dependencies, and issues in environments where stakes are high and timelines matter.
* Work closely with senior business and IT stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparent communication.
* Implement and reinforce security standards and related frameworks (ISO, CISM, ITIL, …).
* Produce clear, consistent reporting, documentation, and decision‑support using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Office 365.
* Drive continuous improvement within cybersecurity processes and project methodologies.
* Take full ownership — delegation of core responsibilities is not permitted in this role.
What are we looking for?
* You have a Master's Degree or equivalent through experience.
* You possess over 10 years of experience in IT.
* You hold certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
* You are certified in Prince2 Project Management Methodology or a similar methodology such as PMBOK or PM2.
* You have a proven track record of demonstrating strategic leadership in large‑scale business transformation projects.
* You bring strong knowledge of relevant methodologies such as Prince2 and Lean Six Sigma.
* You have senior‑level project management skills.
* You are fluent in English and proficient in either Dutch OR French.
